Kathleen (KatySue) Tillman, PhD, LP, RPT, is a Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychologist and Registered Play Therapist with over two decades of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families. Terry Kottman developed Adlerian Play Therapy, an approach to working with children, families, and adults that blends the principles of Individual Psychology with the creative, relational power of play. She is the founder of the League of Extraordinary Adlerian Play Therapists (LEAPT) and the creator of the certification program in Adlerian Play Therapy. Known for her engaging teaching style and deep clinical insight, Terry regularly writes and teaches on the topic of play therapy across the country.

Terry is the co-author (with Kristin Meany-Walen) of Doing Play Therapy: From Building the Relationship to Facilitating Change and Partners in Play: An Adlerian Approach to Play Therapy, as well as the author of Play Therapy: Basics and Beyond and several other influential texts.
