Program Description

This three-day advanced training invites EMDR-trained clinicians to return to the foundations of EMDR therapy with renewed clarity and confidence.

Grounded in the EMDRIA Definition of EMDR Therapy and the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) Model, the training provides a structured review of attachment-informed case conceptualization and the eight phases of EMDR therapy while maintaining fidelity to the model.

Participants will deepen their clinical practice through play therapy and expressive arts applications including Sandtray, drawing, storytelling, symbolic play, and creative interventions that support developmental appropriateness, regulation, attunement, and engagement with children and adolescents.

Instruction includes lecture, discussion, demonstration, video illustration, supervised dyadic practice, and guided reflection.

Participants will leave with a refreshed understanding of EMDR fundamentals and practical strategies for integrating play therapy and expressive arts while maintaining fidelity to the EMDR model.

As someone reviewing this after the email from Cherise, the only additional thing I would verify is that the registration button sends people either directly to Jackie Flynn Consulting registration or clearly indicates that registration is being processed on behalf of Jackie Flynn Consulting. Everything else on this page would satisfy the concern she raised about provider responsibility.
