I Am Octopus Card Deck is a playful reflective tool created to support self-awareness, safety, and emotional regulation through animal-based projections. Each card invites clients to explore different parts of themselves through the voice of an animal, helping them notice feelings, needs, instincts, patterns, and protective responses with curiosity rather than judgment.

When Feelings, Needs, and Patterns Are Hard to Name

In therapy, journaling, mindfulness, movement, conversation, or quiet moments alone, people may find it easier to explore themselves through the gentle distance of animal imagery.

The I Am Octopus Card Deck supports people to:
