Let Me Introduce You to Paris Goodyear-Brown
Paris Goodyear-Brown, MSSW, LCSW, RPT-S, is a renowned child trauma therapist, author, and international speaker. She is the creator of TraumaPlay™, the Executive Director of the TraumaPlay Institute, Clinical Director of Nurture House, and an Adjunct Instructor in Psychiatric Mental Health at Vanderbilt University. Paris is also an EMDR Approved Consultant, a TEDx speaker, and the recipient of the APT award for Play Therapy Promotion and Education.
With a passion for helping children tell their hardest stories, Paris has trained thousands of therapists around the world. Her dynamic teaching style blends deep clinical expertise with playful, attachment-based interventions. She has authored more than twenty chapters and articles and written thirteen books including Play Therapy with Traumatized Children, Trauma and Play Therapy, Big Behaviors in Small Containers, and the newly released Polyvagal Power in the Playroom. Her latest manuscript, Big Behaviors in All Containers, features over 100 interventions for caregiver–child dyads in TraumaPlay™.
