Joyce Wilkerson, LPC, RPT-S™, SPE, is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Registered Play Therapist Supervisor™, and seasoned clinician with over 20 years of experience supporting children, teens, and families. Her areas of expertise include anxiety, trauma, parenting, life transitions, ADHD, emotional regulation, and academic concerns. She brings a compassionate, skills-based approach to her work, rooted in strong clinical training and a deep belief in the power of connection.
In addition to her private practice, Wilkerson Counseling Group, LLC, Joyce serves as an Adjunct Instructor for the Play Therapy Institute at the University of Central Missouri. She is also an Instructor and Clinical Supervisor for the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Counseling Branch of the Association for Psychological Counseling & Trauma Therapy in Ukraine. Joyce has taught Child Parent Relationship Training (CPRT) nationally and internationally for over 16 years, equipping caregivers and professionals to build more connected, emotionally attuned relationships with children.
