Heather Fairlee Denbrough [she/her/hers] is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Registered Play Therapist Supervisor™, and Certified Synergetic Play Therapy Supervisor. For the past 16 years, she has worked in community mental health at Children’s Center in Vancouver, Washington, where she serves on the leadership team, is a member of the Diversity, Equity, and Engagement (DEE) team, and offers clinical supervision. Heather provides play therapy to children ages 2–13 and their families, with a focus on deepening connection through creative, expressive, and relationship-based approaches.
Heather’s specialties include working with aggression, developmental trauma, attachment wounds, and suicidal ideation in young children. Through her private practice, Playful Integration, she offers case consultation and teaches workshops for play therapists and helping professionals who want to integrate play-based principles into their work.
