Rose is an EMDR Consultant, and Synergetic Play Therapist Supervisor, is a trauma therapist who has been helping children and families for over 20 years. She is a writer, presenter, EMDR consultant, registered play therapist supervisor, and mother of two boys.
Rose works in private practice with children, adults, and families through the lens of attachment, mindfulness, therapeutic powers of play, interpersonal neurobiology, and family system theory. Rose has a passion in integrating nature and sand therapy into her work. She has co-edited a book, Nature-based Play and Expressive Therapies: Interventions for Working with Children, Teens, and Families which will be available in March 2022. She provides consultation sessions for therapists looking to become certified in EMDR and registered play therapists. Rose is the past president of the New Jersey Counseling Association-Creativity Division and currently serves on the board for the World Association of Sand Therapy Professionals.
