Jamie Lynn Langley
Jamie Lynn Langley has been a therapist for over 30 years specializing with children, teens and families. With a background in community mental health, Jamie has a private practice in Smyrna, TN just outside of Nashville. She is also full-time faculty with Middle TN State University. Jamie co-founded the TN Assoc for Play Therapy and serves as it’s president.
Jamie is passionate about creativity and nature, and integrates these in her clinical practice as well as supervision, teaching, writing and training. She has written several articles and chapters about play therapy, more recently concentrating on Nature Play Therapy. She has a book coming out in March that she co-edited with four other play therapists called: “Nature-Based Play and Expressive Therapies: Interventions for Working with Children, Teens and Families.”
