of the American Psychological Association and a Fellow in the APA Division of Child and Adolescent Psychology, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Psychology. He is the author of 20 books in the field of child and adolescent psychology, and the author, co-author, editor, co-editor of over 100 journal articles and book chapters. He is the recipient of numerous awards including three Lifetime Achievement Awards from the Hudson Valley Psychological Association, the New York Association of Play Therapy, and the United States Association for Play Therapy.

school-based mental health, and group private practice, and is a formeradjunct faculty member at Alliant International University/CSPP, Los Angeles and Phillips Graduate Institute, and she is the author of the new therapeutic children’s book, I’ve got this: A child’s guide to lifting yourself
up when you’re feeling down. Dr. Shadburn has been conducting trainings in play therapy and child interventions for over two decades.
