Kurt Oster

Kurt W. Oster is a seasoned mental health professional and multifaceted leader with over fifteen years of experience. He is the Owner/President & CEO of VonOstir Innovation Services, PLLC, and the Chief Clinical Officer for Aspire Integrated Health System, LLC. Kurt Oster holds various multi-state licenses in AL, FL, PA & VA and certifications, including as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers (ACSW) and Board-Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work (BCD). He is also a Registered Play Therapist (RPT)™.
With a diverse educational background spanning urban studies, social work, teaching, and homeland security, Kurt Oster brings a unique perspective to his work. He specializes in serving children, adolescents, young adults, families, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and neurodivergences. Kurt Oster advocates for youth civic engagement, LGBTQ+ mental health, and disaster preparedness, regularly presenting internationally. Kurt Oster is also an acclaimed author of the House of Phoenix Chronicles, now moving into the series' fourth book. Kurt Oster will be the co-editor of Transformative Expressions in Play Therapy Working with LGBTQ+ Clients, being released in June 2025!
