Kelly is currently the Clinical Supervisor at The Children's Advocacy Center of Collin County where she supervises Mater's Level Interns as well as sees clients of all ages for therapy sessions. She has worked at the CACCC, with some of the most difficult cases for 13 years. She recognizes it as an honor and privilege to be able to walk alongside her clients on their healing journeys. Kelly has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Texas A&M and a graduate degree in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. Kelly loves to integrate sandtray, EMDR, movement, and play into her sessions. She has presented at numerous conferences on sandtray, trauma, and play therapy as well as co-authored an article in APT's magazine. 

Karen, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas, is dedicated to empowering clients through her extensive expertise and compassionate approach. She holds a B.S. in Psychology and an M.S. in Counseling from Texas A&M University-Commerce, graduating with honors and earning induction into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi for her stellar academic performance. Actively involved in professional organizations like the Texas Counseling Association and EMDR International Association, Karen stays at the forefront of counseling practices.

With a focus on trauma and child sexual abuse victims, Karen's client base spans from children to adults. Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as her base model, she adopts a multi-modal approach tailored to each individual's needs. As a Registered Play Therapist™, Karen incorporates innovative techniques such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trust-Based Relational Therapy, and Humanistic Sandtray Therapy into her practice.

Continuously advancing her skills, Karen is EMDR Trained and progressing towards certification. She has undergone extensive training in a variety of therapeutic modalities including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Child-Parent Relational Therapy. With a commitment to holistic healing, Karen strives to provide a safe and supportive environment for her clients to navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, self-harm, anger, grief, and loss.
