I am Alyssa Meyer, a licensed clinical social worker, registered play therapist, and an EMDRIA approved consultant in training. I have a private practice in Denver, Colorado. Mighty Minds Therapy.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults. I have extensive experience with the treatment of severe, sudden, and life altering trauma’s this has included but is not limited to child sexual abuse, victims of mass shootings, relationship ruptures, and traumatic grief and loss.
I also provide consultation and trainings to support professionals all over the world. I enjoy coming along side other professionals in their journey and learning in tandem. In supervision, I incorporate training following evidenced based models, discuss and create professional development plans, grow your skills with case conceptualization and case consultation, and believe in offering person of the therapist experiences to guide supervisee’s in developing and enhancing their therapeutic skills.
