Let Me Introduce You to Theresa
Theresa Fraser, MA, CPT-S, RP, RCT, is a Registered Psychotherapist, Registered Counselling Therapist, and Canadian Play Therapy Supervisor. She is the Executive Director of the Maritime Play Therapy Centre in Atlantic Canada and The Sandtray Academy, where she provides training and education in play therapy and sandtray therapy for professionals around the world.
Theresa has trained colleagues across Australia, England, Ireland, the United States, and Canada in Play Therapy and Sandtray Therapy. She currently offers an Introductory Sandtray Practitioner Certificate aligned with WASTP competencies for certification. Alongside her professional work, Theresa and her husband fostered more than 200 children over nearly 30 years and are also adoptive parents. She is co-author, with her son Eric Fraser, of the book We Aren’t All the Same but We Are Still Family.
