Let Me Introduce You to Tammi
Tammi Van Hollander, LCSW, RPT-S is a licensed clinical social worker, Registered Play Therapist Supervisor, author, and internationally recognized expert in play therapy. With more than 20 years of experience working with children, families, and individuals, Tammi is passionate about helping children discover their strengths, build connection, and develop resilience through creative and attachment-based approaches.
Tammi is the author of Casey’s Greatness Wings: Teaching Mindfulness, Connection, and Courage to Children, a multi-sensory children’s book designed to nurture emotional growth and confidence. Inspired by the success of the book, she also created Casey’s Greatness Cards and Greatness Sticks, tools used in schools, counseling practices, and homes to support mindfulness, courage, and connection in children.
She specializes in attachment-focused therapy, sand tray play therapy, and sensory integration, working with infants, children, families, and adults of all ages. Tammi earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and has received extensive training and supervision through The Family and Play Therapy Center in Philadelphia. She is also a certified Trainer for the Nurtured Heart Approach®, a certified FirstPlay® practitioner, and a founding board member of The World Association for Sand Therapy Professionals.
