Melissa Winterscheid
Melissa Winterscheid is a passionate therapist, trainer, and co-owner of Jerlissa’s, bringing more than 15 years of experience in school-based and private practice settings. As an LPC-S and RPT-S, Melissa is known for her creative, experiential approach to therapy and training, grounded in Adlerian Play Therapy™ and Sandtray Therapy. She is deeply committed to helping therapists grow with confidence through practical, ethical, and engaging learning experiences that inspire both personal and professional growth.
Melissa’s work centers on supporting therapists through the complexities of child therapy, including ethics, burnout, self-care, and advocacy. Through her trainings and collaborative work, she empowers clinicians to approach their work with purpose, playfulness, and resilience. In addition to her clinical and training work, Melissa is also co-creator of Effit! Dolls and Secret Keepers through Jerlissa’s, offering innovative tools that support emotional expression and healing for children and families.
NanDee Walker
NanDee Walker, NCC, LPC-S, RPT-S, is a passionate leader in the field of play therapy, known for her dynamic approach to supervision, ethics, and bibliotherapy. With years of experience guiding clinicians and leading consultation groups, NanDee brings both warmth and wisdom to every presentation. Her mission is to empower therapists to grow with integrity, creativity, and heart—always keeping the child at the center of the work.
