Let Me Introduce You to Jeanette
Jeanette Yoffe, M.A., M.F.T., is a psychotherapist specializing in adoption and foster care with more than 23 years of experience supporting children, teens, adults, and families connected by foster care and adoption. She is the Founder of Celia Center Inc., a nonprofit organization in Los Angeles dedicated to supporting all members of the foster care and adoption constellation, and the Clinical Director of Yoffe Therapy Inc., a mental health center serving families impacted by trauma, foster care, and adoption.
Jeanette is also an author, educator, and advocate passionate about bringing greater awareness and healing to the foster care and adoption community. She authored The Traumatized and At-Risk Youth Toolbox: Over 160 Attachment-Informed Interventions for Working with Kids and Families in Foster Care and Beyond and created the YouTube channel Jeanette-ically Speaking, devoted to educating the public about foster care, adoption, and mental health. In addition, she contributes to Psychology Today through her column The Inner Life of Foster Care.
