Elizabeth Ernest, LMFT, LCSW, RPT is a child and family therapist based in St. Louis, Missouri, who specializes in supporting children and teens with anxiety, OCD, and other anxiety-related disorders. As a former college athlete who personally experienced performance anxiety, Elizabeth is especially passionate about helping young athletes build confidence, manage anxiety, and perform under pressure using compassionate and evidence-based approaches.
Elizabeth discovered her passion for working with children and teens during graduate school after being introduced to play therapy through her internship experience. She now provides therapy, training, and consultation on topics including OCD and play therapy, anxiety in athletes, and Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs). Elizabeth has also contributed therapeutic interventions featured in Liana Lowenstein’s latest book and continues to support clinicians and families through practical, engaging, and effective tools for healing and growth.
