Dr. Julia Knach
Let Me Introduce You to Dr. Julia
Dr. Julia Knach, PsyD, LCPC, LCADC, RPT-S™, RST-C/T, EMDR CIT, is the founder of My Crossing Paths Counseling Center and My Crossing Paths Training Center. She also serves as an adjunct professor at the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) and is the current Vice President of the World Association for Sand Therapy Professionals.
Dr. Knach is an author, educator, and clinician whose work explores the intersection of trauma, addiction, and expressive healing. She wrote Crossing Paths: The Intersection Between Trauma and Addictions and contributed to Transformative Expressions in Play Therapy: Working with LGBTQ+ Clients. Her most recent book, This Is How I Rise: Fragments of Loss, Survival, and Self, reflects a deeply personal journey of healing through sandtray and expressive reflection. Her doctoral research focused on the use of sand tray therapy in healing from adverse childhood experiences, highlighting her commitment to integrative, trauma-informed care.
