Hi there, I’m so glad you’re here.
You can learn and practice EMDR in a way that feels true to you, with both fidelity and heart.
I’m Jackie Flynn, a trauma therapist and EMDR trainer who helps clinicians feel confident using EMDR with children, teens, and families so their clients can experience lasting healing and deep integration.

Healing doesn’t have to take a lifetime.
Many people carry the weight of trauma for years, stuck in patterns that once kept them safe but now hold them back. Healing does not have to take a lifetime.
EMDR helps the brain and body process what words alone cannot reach, restoring a sense of safety and connection.

Welcome to the Healing Power of EMDR Therapy
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy helps the brain heal from emotional distress and traumatic memories often faster than traditional talk therapy.
Through gentle, guided eye movements or bilateral stimulation, EMDR helps your mind reprocess painful experiences so they no longer feel overwhelming.
Reprocessing vs Talking: The Core Difference
EMDR takes a different approach from traditional talk therapy. Instead of relying mainly on discussion and reflection, it helps clients reprocess traumatic memories through bilateral stimulation like guided eye movements or tapping. This allows the brain to integrate those experiences more adaptively, often leading to faster relief without requiring clients to verbalize every detail.
Compared to what you’re used to in traditional therapy, where change comes through insight and cognitive work, EMDR works more directly on how trauma is stored in the brain rather than just how it’s understood.

Trainings
I provide EMDRIA approved EMDR Basic and advanced trainings, offered both online and in person. As an EMDRIA Approved Trainer and Registered Play Therapist Supervisor, I strive to create experiential, relational, and supportive learning spaces where therapists can grow in skill and confidence as they work with children, adults, and families.
Consultation
I offer EMDRIA approved consultation with me or a trusted member of my team. As a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor™ and a Qualified Supervisor in the state of Florida, I provide supportive, growth-focused consultation for clinicians at every stage of their EMDR journey. This includes honing clinical skills, navigating difficult cases, and working toward EMDRIA Certification. I also provide consultation in training for those on the path to becoming Consultants in Training (CIT).
Therapy
In addition to training and consultation, I offer therapy for children, teens, adults, and couples in Florida. My approach draws from EMDR, play therapy, expressive work, and the natural world. I specialize in EMDR intensives, offered in Cocoa Beach and online, which provide extended time and support for deeper healing than weekly therapy often allows.
Trauma lives in the nervous system, not just in the story.
EMDR helps clients access the wisdom of their own processing system and move toward completion.
When you learn it in a way that is practical and easy to apply in your own practice, therapy shifts from managing symptoms to creating lasting integration.
Learn EMDR with clarity and support, and bring this depth of healing to the people you serve.
